Our organic wool terry cloth has been brand new on the German market since 2018 at Danisch Pur.

This is also made of 100% merino wool (organic, mulesing-free) and is a knitted, stretchy fabric that has the typical loops on one side that you know from cotton towels. On the other side it is smooth like a normal knitted jersey.

It can be sewn on the right or left - it is warmest when the loops are on the inside.

Thanks to the small air pockets, wool terry cloth warms you up without weighing you down, making it a very light and very comfortable material despite its relative grip. Therefore, this fabric is particularly popular for making baby rompers or pajamas. Wool terry cloth is also ideal as a material for warm sweaters or jackets, but also for cozy blankets and blankets.
