wool terry

Our organic wool terry cloth has been brand new on the German market since 2018 at Danisch Pur.

This one is also made from 100% merino wool (organic, mulesing-free) or a blend of merino wool and Tencel™ Lyocell.

It is a knitted, stretchy fabric that has the typical loops found on cotton towels on one side. On the other side, it is smooth like a normal knitted jersey.

It can be sewn on either the right or the left side - it is warmest when the loops are on the inside.

Thanks to its air pockets, wool terry cloth provides warmth without weighing you down, making it a relatively light and very comfortable fabric despite its texture. This makes it particularly popular for baby rompers and pajamas. Wool terry cloth is also excellent for warm sweaters and jackets, as well as for cuddly blankets and swaddling blankets.
