The origin of the points system idea:

Some time ago I had the idea that it would be great if you could collect points with every order. You could later exchange these points for fabric surprise packages . You'll be delighted with the surprise packages, and we'll have a good use for leftover fabric scraps or fabrics with minor imperfections.

Important: The surprise packages do not contain regular fabric by the meter for you to choose from. They consist exclusively of fabrics from our remnant bins, which may contain printing errors , holes , or runs . These fabrics are still perfectly usable, however – just be careful when cutting them. Color requests are welcome and encouraged so we can truly delight you!

Collecting and redeeming points:

• Earn points : You automatically collect points with every order. You can easily view your points balance on our website. (To do this, you need to log in and click on your points balance.)

• Redeem points : Once you have collected enough points, you can exchange them for surprise packages.

  • 500 points = 1 mini fabric bundle
  • 2,500 points = 1 baby or children's fabric surprise package (size M)
  • 5,000 points = 1 adult surprise package

• Express your preferences : You can specify your fabric preferences in the order comments. The more general your requests are (e.g., "no fleece, but preferably wool or Tencel, and if possible, no green"), the more likely we are to be able to fulfill them.

• Important note regarding redemption : To avoid problems, please do not redeem your points using the tool . This often doesn't work. Instead, please provide your points details in the order comments or via email . This will ensure everything is processed correctly.

Details about the surprise packages:

1. Mini fabric bundle : Contains small fabric scraps that can be used, for example, for a baby garment or as ribbing for other scraps. If you have a specific project in mind, please let us know its intended use.

2. Children's fabric surprise package (size M) : Two pieces of fabric, each approximately 45 cm high and full width (slightly smaller for more expensive fabrics such as boiled wool; the price is based on the wool-silk blend). Fabrics with half the width but correspondingly greater height may also be included.

3. Adult Surprise Package : Three pieces of fabric, each approximately 65 cm high and full width. This package also includes slightly smaller quantities of more expensive fabrics such as wool or felt; the price is based on the wool-silk blend.

Example of material defects in the surprise packages:

• A run through the entire stitch, where the fabric to the right and left of it can still be used.
• Small holes that need to be cut out.
• Printing errors in some places on a sample fabric (not throughout).

Summary:

• Collect points : You automatically collect points with every purchase (1 € net = 1 point).
• Redeeming points : Redemption is done via email or in the order comments, not via the tool.
• Surprise packages : These consist of leftover materials that may have minor defects, but are still perfectly usable.

The fabrics in the packages are either crooked bolt ends with an inconvenient length for sale or fabrics with minor flaws that ended up in our remnant bins. There are explicitly no first-quality items in the packages, but all fabrics are perfectly usable :-)

To redeem your points: Please do not redeem them via the blue "Bonus Points" field, but rather by email or in the order comments. Collecting points works perfectly with the tool – we could never manage that manually. However, redeeming points with it often goes wrong!
