Kara Organic Soap - Fragrance-free with sage - for sensitive scalp, dry hair

KARA soap is a rich skin and hair care product if you have a sensitive, irritated scalp or very dry, brittle skin and hair.

This shampoo/shower soap is wonderfully firm and lathers well. KARA is a highly superfatted soap – it richly nourishes your hair and scalp with, among other things, plenty of organic olive oil, as well as moisture-regulating organic shea butter and organic babassu oil, which is particularly valuable for dry and damaged hair. We've refined KARA's formula with a soothing sage herbal extract. Furthermore, our KARA hair soap contains a dash of black cumin seed oil to soothe and care for damaged skin and for shiny hair.

If your scalp is already irritated, KARA hair soap is a good choice – it contains no essential oils and only a few plant-based fats/oils. This minimizes the allergenic potential to avoid causing further irritation. KARA hair soap is therefore fragrance-free. Only the pleasant, characteristic scent of black cumin seed oil comes through very faintly.

Suitable for dry, brittle hair and sensitive, irritated scalps.

Information about sage, black cumin oil, and neem oil

Black cumin seed oil is used for various skin problems due to its antibacterial properties. Sage – who doesn't know it – for example in cough drops, etc. – is traditionally used primarily as a tea or as a cold herbal infusion in creams or compresses for inflammatory skin conditions. Neem oil is very helpful for itchy skin.

Application:

You can use hair soap basically the same way as liquid shampoo. It's best to brush your hair well before washing. Then thoroughly wet your hair and the hair soap with water. Smooth the hair soap evenly over your hair. Lather well and massage the soap into your hair. Rinse and then rinse thoroughly.

Rinsing thoroughly is important to ensure that no soap residue remains in the hair and on the scalp, which could irritate the skin.

If you've been using liquid shampoo, give your hair the necessary time to adjust to the change. It can actually take up to six months for everything to balance out.
